Course Aim

The aim of the programme is to familiarize the participants with the effective social security programmes and to develop techniques and strategies for initiating micro-level social security network.

Methodology The methodology is essentially participative and dialogical and makes full use of the total time at the disposal of the participants. Methods geared to meet the varying needs of the participants such as lectures, discussions, case studies, audio-visual aids, library and reading assignments, periodic assessment, country specific project work, field visits to industrial units will be used during the programme. Besides the Institute’s highly qualified and experienced inter-disciplinary core faculty, eminent administrators, conciliators, advocates, experts, trade union leaders, senior executives and academicians will be available as resource persons.
Participation Level Government Officials, Representatives of Civil Society Organisations, Officials from employers’/employees organisations, institutions and industries, service sector/NGOs etc. This programme is for foreign nationals sponsored by Ministry of External Affairs, Govt. of India.under the Indian Technical and Economic Cooperation (ITEC) Programme.
