Course Objective
  • To impart knowledge and skills for identifying Child Labour and Bonded Labour
  • To enhance understanding on the various government schemes for effective rehabilitation
  • To equip with abilities to elicit cooperation from various stakeholders to end Child Labour and Bonded Labour practice and also to prevent further re-bondage of the released Bonded Labour
Course Profile

Overview of the magnitude and incidence of Child Labour and Bonded in India; Governmental Schemes and Non-governmental Interventions; Legislation and Central Schemes on Bonded Labour; Amended CALPR Act and Standard Operating Procedures for its Enforcement; Leadership and Community Mobilization skills; Sharing best practices

Methodology This training will be delivered in an online mode. The training will primarily make use of lectures, case studies and experience sharing. It will also include group discussions and thus be participative in nature.
Participation Level NCLP Project Directors, CWCs, Child Protection Officers, Police, Child Welfare Officers, Probation officers, Child Line, Urban and Rural Local Bodies, Officials and Para Legal Volunteers of the State Legal Service Authority (SLSA) and District Legal Service Authority (DLSA).
