Course Objective
  • To provide an understanding of the need and the context of codification of the labour laws in India,
  • To discuss critically, the broad scheme and key features of the Industrial Relations Code, 2020 and the draft rules
  • To discuss the implications of Industrial Relations Code, 2020 for various stake holders.
  • To discuss the perspectives of various stakeholders on the provisions of the Industrial Relations Code, 2020.
Course Profile

The programme would primarily focus on definitional aspects, dispute settlement mechanisms, newly added provision of fixed-term employment, negotiating council, and trade union issues etc.

Methodology This training will be delivered in an online mode. The training will primarily make use of lectures, case studies and experience sharing. It will also include group discussions and thus be participative in nature.
Participation Level Labour Officials, Management Personnel & Plant level representatives of Trade Unions / Associations / Federations from government establishments, public and private sector undertakings. Participants should have working knowledge of English Language. Further, as this is an online training, those enrolling in the programme should have access to internet and laptop/desktop with audio-visual facilities.
