Course Aim The programme aims to acquaint the young participants from different universities with the knowledge, importance and prospects of skill development in enhancing employability and entrepreneurship of youth. After completion of master degree course they are supposed to take up different career options this programme will enrich their understanding of skill development, enhance their capabilities and enable them to play larger role for the skill development of youth of the nation.
Course Objective To understand the World of Work , Future of Work and Decent Employment To situate the importance of skill development for employ ability in general and for youth in particular in the Emerging Economy To familiarize the participants with skill development avenues and initiatives To enable the participants to play larger role along with enhancing individual capacity.
Course Profile Work Dynamics, Skill for Employment, Employ ability, Productivity, Human Development& Inclusive Growth,Skill and Technology, Self-Employment and Entrepreneurship,Creative and Social Entrepreneurship, Policy Response, and Skill Development Initiatives with reference to gender, Case Study/Good Practices, Employ ability Skills.

Course Title Online Capacity Building Programme on Identification, Rescue, Rehabilitation of Child Labour and Bonded Labour and Prosecution of Offenders
Course Aim The programme aims to equip the participants with knowledge and skills for effective Identification, release and immediate rehabilitation of bonded labour and child labour.
Course Objective To strengthen knowledge and skills for Identification of bonded labour and child labour To impart knowledge on Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for Identification and Rescue of Bonded Labourer and child labour To understand the ways of effective investigation in bonded labour and labour trafficking cases and Prosecution of Offender To discuss the importance of effective and timely filing of FIR, strong evidence collection and arrest of perpetrator and protection of victims To understand the linkage between human trafficking and bonded labour and also the role of Statutory and Law Enforcement bodies
Course Profile BLSA Act (1976), IPC 370, CALPRAct, Standard Operating Procedures on Bonded Labour and Child Labour (MoLE), Role and responsibilities of stakeholders, social partners including the Statutory and Law Enforcement bodies.
Methodology Training will be imparted in on-line mode. Participants should have access to good internet connection and computer/laptops with audio-visual facilities. Interactive and participative in nature, the mode of training will primarily be Interactive lectures.
Participation Level Officials of Police Department from SJPUs, Missing Children Units, Cells for Crime against Women and Children, Anti-Human Trafficking Units (AHTUs)from all the States of the Country.

Course Title Course on Research Methods on Gender Issues in Labour
Course Aim The course would enhance the understanding of young researchers to learn about various methods and approaches pertaining to research on gender issues in labour. It would also provide them an opportunity to engage in dialogues, discussion on gender and labour issues to strengthen their academic endeavors. The course will help in developing an understanding of both qualitative and some aspects of quantitative research on gender issues in labour. It would encourage researchers to identify emerging areas for research on labour issues from a gender perspective and enable them to theorize and engage in practical applications of their knowledge in their research pursuits.
Course Objective Theoretical Perspectives on gender and labour research across various disciplines; To understand the various feminist methodologies and approaches in gender research; Identifying emerging issues in gender and labour research in social sciences; Introducing various qualitative and quantitative techniques in gender issues in labour research; To make the participants familiar with recent statistical packages used in social science research.
Course Profile Theoretical perspectives, Methods of Qualitative and Quantitative research, research on emerging issues in gender studies, use statistical packages in social science research.
Methodology Through lectures, discussions and interactive sessions.
