Course Aim This course empowers the participants to know the various provisions of RTI act 2005 and prepare an effective RTI reply.
Course Objective After completing the course, participants would be able to: Gain insights into the legal framework of the RTI Act and its implications for public authorities and citizens. Enhance skills in replying RTI requests, ensuring compliance, and maintaining records. Understand the role of the RTI Act in promoting participatory democracy and informed decision-making.
Methodology Lectures, individual and group presentations, sharing case studies

Course Title Online Thematic Training Programme on Occupational Safety and Health
Course Aim To enhance participants' understanding of the principles, practices, and regulations related to workplace safety and health.
Course Objective To increase participants' awareness of common workplace hazards and their potential impact on employees' health and safety. To familiarize participants with relevant local and international regulations, standards, and guidelines pertaining to occupational safety and health. To enable participants to identify various types of workplace hazards, including physical, chemical, biological, ergonomic, and psychosocial factors. To equip participants with strategies for implementing effective preventive measures, such as engineering controls, administrative controls, and personal protective equipment. To educate participants on emergency response procedures, including evacuation plans, first aid, and handling workplace incidents
Course Profile International guidelines on safety and health at workplace; legislation on OSH; sharing of Best Practices on OSH; capacity building for enhanced OSH programmes.
Methodology This training will be delivered in an online mode. The training will primarily make use of lectures and discussions, followed by questions and answers. Each session will be based on a structured Power Point Presentation
Participation Level Officials of Directorate of Factories & Construction under State Labour Departments, Officers dealing with Occupational Safety and Health from Government Establishments, Public and Private Sector Undertakings.
