To enhance organisation building capacity of the construction workers/union Activists

The programme aims at equipping the participants with challenges and opportunities in the learning process and world of work including the emergence of Fourth Industrial Revolution (4IR or Industry 4.0), New Education Policy which would enable them to enhance their capability as well guide the students for the preparedness for future of work.

The primary aim of this is to provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of the research process and its various components.

The course will familiarize scholars and practitioner on techniques and methods in historical research on labour and labour relations. The course will enable the participants to understand contemporary transformations in the world of work in a historical perspective and familiarize them with the different approaches to history of labour. It will also equip them to undertake systematic research on labour history

The programme endeavors to enlighten the participants about the inequalities prevalent in the world of work and the challenges faced by women in the labour market. It would enable the participants in developing an understanding about the linkages between gender, work and social protection. The programme also aims at addressing larger questions of women’s empowerment and agency by effective designing of the social protection mechanisms in order to prevent gender based deprivation and ensure social protection through a rights based approach.

The aim of the programme is to make leaders aware about importance of work proficiency to achieve personal and organizational goals.
