Course Title Online Capacity Building Programme on Identification, Rescue, Rehabilitation of Child Labour and Bonded Labour and Prosecution of Offenders
Course Aim The programme aims to equip the participants with knowledge and skills for effective Identification, release and immediate rehabilitation (Critical Crisis Period) of Bonded Labourers.
Course Objective To strengthen knowledge and skills for Identification of bonded labourers (surveys, enquiry etc.) To understand new forms of bonded labour and ways to tackle it To impart knowledge on Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for Identification and Rescue of Child Labour, Bonded Labour and Prosecution of Offender To understand the linkage between human trafficking and bonded labour To discuss the importance of effective and timely rehabilitation during the Critical Crisis Period after a bonded labourer is rescued To learn about the role of Statutory and Law Enforcement bodies (Police, Labour Department, Vigilance Committees, District Magistrates) from identification to immediate rehabilitation
Course Profile Legislative and Policy Framework including BLSA Act (1976), IPC 370, CAL(PR) Act, International Conventions, Protocols, Standard Operating Procedures on Bonded Labour and Child Labour, Roles and Responsibilities of Stakeholders, Social partners including the Statutory and Law Enforcement bodies.

Participation Level Bonded Labour Rehabilitation Scheme (MOLE 2016), BLSA Act (1976), CALPR Act, IPC 370, Standard Operating Procedures on Bonded Labour (MoLE),Supreme Court Judgements, NHRC Guidelines & Role of Statutory and Law Enforcement bodies (Police, Labour Department, Vigilance Committees, District Magistrates).
