Course Title Capacity Building Programme on Startups Regulations and Welfare Schemes
Course Aim To equip participants with a robust understanding of India’s labour law framework, particularly in light of the new Labour Codes and therefore, enabling them to institutionalise legally compliant, socially responsible, and future-ready workplace practices. The programme aims to bridge the gap between legal mandates and startup realities, fostering an ecosystem that values compliance as a strategic enabler for inclusive growth, ethical leadership, and long-term sustainability. The programme will also serve as a platform to discuss existing policies, schemes, as well as the key challenges relevant to Startup ecosystem in the country.
Course Profile This three-day training is designed for Startup founders, development experts associated with Startup initiatives, labour officers, incubator representatives as well as management students and research scholars seeking clarity on the regulatory expectations under India’s labour law regime. The course delves into essential legal provisions, recent reforms, and future trends relevant to early-stage enterprises. Special emphasis will be placed on gig work, workplace inclusion, dispute resolution, and the legal nuances within the startup ecosystem. Case studies, compliance checklists, and ready-to-use templates will support practical learning.
