Course Aim Develop competence to combat trafficking for Child Labour.
Course Objective This training programme has the following objectives; • To impart understanding on trafficking that involves children • To provide insight into the initiatives that have been taken to protect children from becoming victims of trafficking • To develop skills for mobilization and building of partnerships for contributing to effective remedial actions and for providing support services for rehabilitation
Course Profile Situational Analysis of working children in India; Governmental Schemes aiming at development of children and child labour families; Child Labour Policy and Legislation; and communication and community Mobilisation Skills
Methodology Interactive Lecture, Group Discussion, Plenary Session, Role Play
Participation Level Elected representatives of PRIs, Anti-human Trafficking Units of Police Department, District Child Protection Units, members and Chairperson of Child Welfare Committees, NGOs and NCLP Staff dealing with the issue of Child Trafficking
