Course Aim | The programme aims to equip the participants with knowledge and skills for effective Identification, release and immediate rehabilitation of bonded labour and child labour. |
Course Objective | To strengthen knowledge and skills for Identification of bonded labour and child labour To impart knowledge on Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for Identification and Rescue of Bonded Labourer and child labour To understand the ways of effective investigation in bonded labour and labour trafficking cases and Prosecution of Offender To discuss the importance of effective and timely filing of FIR, strong evidence collection and arrest of perpetrator and protection of victims To understand the linkage between human trafficking and bonded labour and also the role of Statutory and Law Enforcement bodies |
Course Profile | BLSA Act (1976), IPC 370, CALPRAct, Standard Operating Procedures on Bonded Labour and Child Labour (MoLE), Role and responsibilities of stakeholders, social partners including the Statutory and Law Enforcement bodies. |
Methodology | Training will be imparted in on-line mode. Participants should have access to good internet connection and computer/laptops with audio-visual facilities. Interactive and participative in nature, the mode of training will primarily be Interactive lectures. |
Participation Level | Officials of Police Department from SJPUs, Missing Children Units, Cells for Crime against Women and Children, Anti-Human Trafficking Units (AHTUs)from all the States of the Country. |
