| Course Objective | To acquire the knowledge of substantive as well as procedural contents of Industrial Relations Law. To have an understanding of Social Security Legislation. To develop an insight into the Wage Law. To gather an understanding of the law relating to Contract Labour. |
| Course Profile | Salient features of Industrial Relations Laws including Trade Unions Act, IE(S.O) Act and Industrial Disputes Act, Objectives and salient features of social security laws including Employees Compensation Act, Employees Provident Fund and Miscellaneous Provisions Act, Payment of Gratuity Act and Salient features of the law relating to wages. |
| Methodology | This training will be delivered in an online mode. The training will primarily make use of lectures, case studies and experience sharing. It will also include group discussions and thus be participative in nature. |
| Participation Level | Representatives of Central Trade Unions and NGOs from North-Eastern States. Participants should have working knowledge of English. |
