Course Aim | The programme aims to equip the participants with knowledge and skills for effective Prevention, Identification, rescue, release and immediate rehabilitation of Bonded Labour and Child Labour. |
Course Objective | To enhance understanding of the issues of Bonded Labour and Child Labour To strengthen skills for Identification of Bonded Labour and Child Labour To impart knowledge on Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for Identification and Rescue of Bonded Labour To understand the linkage between climate change, distress migration, Human Trafficking, Bonded Labour and Child Labour To discuss the importance of effective and timely rehabilitation during the Critical Crisis Period after a bonded labour/child labour is rescued |
Course Profile | BLSA Act (1976), CALPR Act, IPC 370, Standard Operating Procedures on Bonded Labour and Child Labour (MoLE), Bonded Labour Rehabilitation Scheme (MOLE 2016), Supreme Court Judgements, NHRC Guidelines & Role of Statutory and Law Enforcement bodies (Police, Labour Department, Vigilance Committees, District Magistrates, and others). |
Methodology | Sessions will include interactive discussions, case study presentations, sharing of best practices, group discussions, video/audio presentations, and follow-up field activities |
