Course Objective
  • Understanding the Background of labour reforms.
  • Understanding the key changes; major objectives and features of the various labour codes - The Labour Code on Wages, 2019; Labour Code on Social Security 2020; Labour Code on Industrial Relations 2020; Labour Code on Occupational Safety, Health and Working Conditions 2020.
  • Discuss the role of the different organization/bodies to administer the provisions and the penalties.
  • Understanding how the reforms will address the issues of the workers and impact the employers and their businesses.
Course Profile
  • Understanding the various labour codes - The Labour Code on Wages, 2019; Labour Code on Social Security 2020; Labour Code on Industrial Relations 2020; Labour Code on Occupational Safety, Health and Working Conditions 2020.
  • Understanding the implication of the different Codes on workers and employers.
Methodology This training will be delivered in an online mode. The training will primarily make use of lectures, case studies and experience sharing. It will also include group discussions and thus be participative in nature.
Participation Level HR/Industrial Relations officials and Personnel & Administration Officials.Further, as this is an online training, those enrolling in the programme should have access to internet and laptop/desktop with audio-visual facilities.
