Course Title Training of Trainers Programme on Identification, Rescue, Rehabilitation of Bonded Labour and Child Labour and Prosecution of Offenders
Course Aim The programme aims to equip the participants with skills and knowledge for effective Identification, Release and immediate rehabilitation (Critical Crisis Period) of bonded (adult and child) and child labourers
Course Profile Bonded Labour Rehabilitation Scheme (MOLE 2016), BLSA Act (1976) IPC 370, Standard Operating Procedures on Bonded Labour (MoL&E), Role of Statutory and Law Enforcement bodies (Police, Labour Department, Vigilance Committees, District Magistrates), Data sources on child labour and bonded labour
Methodology Sessions will include interactive discussions, case study presentations, sharing of best practices, group discussions, video/audio presentations, follow up field activities and interactive learning quizzes

Course Aim This programme seeks to create awareness and build knowledge of the participants on specific schemes relating to providing legal services to poor, marginalised, weaker sections of the society, including assistance in applying for schemes towards reducing their vulnerability to labour exploitation.
Course Profile NALSA Legal Services to the Workers in the Unorganised Sector, Scheme 2015, Central Sector Scheme on Bonded Labour Rehabilitation Scheme (2016) Child and Adolescent Labour (Prohibition and Regulation) Act, Bonded Labour System Abolition Act and other related legislation and policies

Course Title Training Programme on Social Security and Welfare for Construction Workers
Course Aim The construction sector in India is the second largest employment generation with more than eight crore workforce. It is dominated by the most valuable segment of the unorganized labour in India who lack basic amenities and welfare facilities. In order to regulate the employment and working conditions of the building and other construction workers and to provide for their safety, health and welfare the Building and Other Construction Workers (Regulation of Employment and Conditions of Service) Act, 1996 was passed. Similarly, the Building and Construction Workers Cess Act,1996 was passed for generating funds for the welfare of building and other construction workers. It has been seen that despite a plethora of labour legislation to protect the interest of the labour, the workers work and live in poor conditions and have access to limited social security and welfare benefits.
