This situation creates greater health vulnerability for those who are at greater risk of disease but not under the cover of social protection, such as workers in the informal economy. |
Course Objective | · To identify the growing occupational and safety risks of workers due to informalisation of work. · To understand the issue of health protection and promotion at workplace. · To understand the need for universal maternity benefits to include women in the workforce. Understand the need for health insurance of workers in order to meet health related insecurities. |
