| Course Aim | One of the major transformations in the world of work during the recent past has been the emergence of online digital labour platforms. This new form of work is associated with both positive and negative outcomes at micro and macro level. The present course aims at enhancing the understanding and capabilities of social partners to ensure decent working standards in the Digital Gig Economy. |
| Course Objective | Understand and appreciate the major transformations in the world of work Sensitive participants on the employment and livelihood related impacts associated with the digital gig economy Understand the need for application of decent work standards in the digital gig economy Acquire knowledge on new forms of labour management practices to ensure decent digital work standards Understand global best practices on decent working conditions for the workers in the digital gig economy Sharpen skills and insights for supervision, coordination and inclusion of decent work practices in the Digital Gig Economy. |
