| Course Title | Online Half-Day Webinar on Female Labour Force Participation : Challenges and Way Out |
| Course Objective | To understand the phenomenon of the declining female labour force participation rate in India. To understand factors responsible for declining female Labour force participation. To understand the issues of women in the unorganized sector and identify the impact of prevailing laws on FLFP. To develop a set of recommendations for informing policy and programme to address declining female labour force participation across sectors and suggest ways to increase participation of women in the labour force . |
| Methodology | This webinar will be delivered in an online mode (Webex platform). The workshop will primarily make use of lectures, case studies and experience sharing. It will also include a Question & Answer session and thus be participative in nature. |
| Participation Level | The webinar is meant for Government Officials, Representatives of Workers, Employers, Civil Society and Academics from all over India. Participants should have working knowledge of Hindi/English. As this is an online training programme, those enrolling in the programme should have access to the internet and laptop/desktop/Smartphone with audio-visual facilities. |
